Assessment Programme

The interview using the Pisces 14-point Assessment Programme

Once a candidate has successfully passed the preliminary screen detailed in stage 1 of our recruitment services they will be interviewed using the Pisces DRB unique 14-point candidate assessment programme.

Designed specifically for the recruitment of salespeople this highly successful programme is split into 2 parts. The 1st part of 7 points cover hard skills usually identifiable from the candidates CV. The 2nd part of 7 points cover the soft skills usually more difficult to quantify. The programme is tailored to suit each of our client’s specific requirements and is prepared following close consultation with your managers who agree the gradings each point should be given.
The gradings run from A to D.

A is excellent, B is above average, C is below average and D is unsatisfactory.

Pisces DRB / Interview Report

At the end of the interview the consultant will complete an interview report form with each of the 14 points graded. If a candidate scores C or below on any point explanatory notes will be given if we still feel that person should still be seen. For example a candidate may score C on stability due to the no of jobs they’ve had. However if the reason for this is redundancy, it is out of the candidates control and should therefore not affect their application. In addition to the gradings the consultant will provide a summary of the candidates transferable skills in relation to the job they are being interviewed for together with honest recommendations for further investigation at 1st interview.
