Our client are the UKs leading specialist b2b telemarketing agency exclusively supporting the IT and telecommunications industries. They work from their 200 seat multimedia and multilingual offices to provide telemarketing services across EMEA, America and Australasia. By providing an innovative and quality driven service with unbeatable return on investment, they have forged long term partnerships with some of the world’s largest and most prestigious IT and telecommunications companies.
Planned expansion has resulted in the need to recruit an additional sales manager. Based out of the companies offices in Reading you will be responsible for managing a team of 3-5 sales executives who are generating new telemarketing business in addition to selling additional services to existing technology clients. This is done through a mixture of telephone work and face to face meetings.
Each sales executive carries an annual revenue target of £1 million and the minimum sales values is £50K annually per sales client. This is very much a collaborative consultative approach and not a transactional commodity sell. As sales manager you will be responsible for setting team and individual targets and creating a motivating environment where individuals are keen to succeed. You will also be responsible for developing a pipeline of opportunity for sales.
To be considered you will need a proven track record gained within a highly competitive business to business sales role where you have been selling a service to a blue chip client base (ideally within the technology sector). You will be accomplished at both new business development and account management and will have progressed from sales to sales management coaching and mentoring your staff to success. Previous international sales experience or fluency in an additional European language (other than English) would be advantageous but is not essential.
The rewards are superb and include a generous basic salary of £31,750-£43,250 (depending upon experience) and a realistic OTE of £100,000, a car allowance, blackberry, laptop and benefits.
