Innovation fuelled by experience and investment has established our client as one of the market leaders for international freight in the UK. Import or export European or worldwide, they provide an effective single source solution for the management of all their customers freight requirements.
Planned expansion has resulted in the need to recruit 2 additional Freight Account Managers. Based out of the companies offices in Milton Keynes you will be responsible for achieving profit growth through management of new and existing customer accounts in the following areas:
* Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, Oxford, Cambridge and St Albans.
You will develop your own portfolio of customers by generating your own leads, contacting businesses by telephone and attending your own sales appointments. Once the customer is on board you will process consignments, perform customer service tasks and develop the account on an ongoing basis. You will be the single point of contact for your customers at all times.
On joining you will go through the companies 13 week development scheme covering all aspects of the business including in-depth sales and product training. To be considered you will ideally have at least 9 months experience within a proactive outbound sales role (either on the phone or face to face). Previous experience within the freight & logistics market would be useful but is not essential.
The rewards are superb and include a generous starting basic of £19500 (including £1000 London weighting) increasing in stages over the 1st 27 months to £26400 plus and additional £5K 1st YR OTE and 15K in Yr 2 (uncapped - 10% commission paid on all over target revenue), Car, mobile, 22 days holiday, employer contributory pension.
